Updated substation at 35/10(6) kV and switching station at 6-10 kV

The following equipment is used at the updated substation at 35 kV

  • Transformer: Power transformer manufactured in the Russian Federation and Dry transformer of GBE firm, Italy for domestic use
  • Breaker: SION Vacuum breaker of SEIMENS firm, Germany and Elegas breaker of АВВ firm
  • Relay protection: Relay protection of Woodward SEEG firm, Germany
  • Other equipment: Load breaker of Uesa Company, chamber and other equipment of Euro standards.

In order to provide our consumers with high quality and reliable energy, we have started improvement of the overhead power line at 04-35 kV since 2010 and have been implementing in phases every year

 

Updated power overhead line at 0.4-35 kV

Improvement of the power overhead line at 04 kV has been executed by using the УКШ-9 concrete supports and SIP wire by installing smart meters and differential automation.

Improvement of the power overhead line at 6-10 kV has been executed by using the УКШ-12 concrete supports and SIP wire by installing the environment-friendly polymer “Bird separator” to the AC switching line

Improvement of the power overhead line at 35 kV has been executed by using the УКШ-12 concrete supports, SIP-3 wire, and polyethylene separator.

/Overhead line at 35 kV has been updated to environment-friendly line by using SIP-3 one phase wire of 35 kV to УКШ-12 concrete supports./

Since 2022, we have been building the overhead lines by using the new technological and economically effective solution for the first time in Mongolia

1 phase SIP-3 switching wire with polyethylene separator of Russian standards has been used for the improvement of the overhead line at 35 kV.

As the result, the line assembling has been executed with smaller machinery and mechanisms but within shorter period of time, reducing the workforce, transportation and execution costs by 3 times.

 

The DSEDN JSC builds about 100 km of power overhead line at 04-35 kV every year.

Some of the mega updates by our company:

  • Complete improvement of the closed switching stations РП-1, РП-2, РП-8, РП-9, and РП-10 at 6 kV.
  • Complete improvement of the substations at 35/10(6) kV in Khongor, Zaamar, Tunkhel, Jums, and Altanbulag.

Some of the works under tender selection:

  • Construction and commissioning 310 km of overhead line Khentii – Sukhbaatar at 110 kV in 2008 and Tavantolgoi – Dalanzadgad at 110 kV in
  • Expansion and commissioning of 4 substations at 110/6 kV, including:

Dalanzadgad substation at 110/6 kV, Baruun-Urt substation at 110/6 kV, Choibalsan substation at 110/6 kV, and Undurkhaan substation at 110/10/6 kV
